Treadmill tips:-
Treadmills are good for the beginner and if you have any kind of joint injuries. The shock absorbing effect of the treadmill means it is kinder on joints than if running on the road. Beware a loss in concentration or a stumble can cause embarrassment by shooting off the back. Take things easy to start with and get used to the positioning of your body in relation to the treadmill machine. Don't try to jump on whilst the treadmill machine is in full flow, instead start from standstill and build up your speed. Don't hang onto the grab rails, these are for mounting, dismounting and emergencies only. |
