When should you be eating before or after you go to the gym?

It really depends on the time of day that your workout takes place. Trying eating something light, (a sandwich) about 30 minutes before you workout, you'll feel better for it. You can also try eating small amounts of potassium rich food like bananas during your session. Then you'll not be embarrassed when your being picked up off the gym floor having fainted.

After your session just eat when you feel comfortable and hungry but remember to try and make it healthy.
