What is cross training?

Cross training is not when you get very aggressive and aggravated because you can't get on the running machine. Instead cross training is a combination of exercise activities that you do rather than concentrating on just one. ie. a session on running, then swimming then cycling then gym then walking etc.

Cross training has it's benefits in that you don't over strain a particular part of your body which you may do if you just concentrate on one exercise.

Cross training also breaks down the boredom threshold and gives you something different to think about each day.

The draw back is just like Jack you gain experienced in many exercises but become master of none.
