Stretching time before your aerobic workout is not
wasted time.
Stretching time should be a key element of your aerobic workout a good stretch routing will reduce your risk of injury by gently warming the muscles ready for exercise. As well as using the 5 - 10 minutes for stretching you can also use the time to slow your mind down, and mentally prepare for your aerobic work out. In the case of martial arts this stretching time can be used to prepare yourself for the next fight whether semi or full contact. |
